We are TOTALLY on GLAAD's side for this one!
Yesterday, we were bummed when the hateful comments started up from people who don't approve of Chaz Bono's inclusion on the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars.
Now, Chelsea Handler has also jumped on that hate wagon, and GLAAD is NOT happy about it!
For those who didn't see it, as an intro to the most recent episode of her show, Chelsea said the following:
"The Dancing with the Stars cast has been announced and, this is season 13, it includes Chaz Bono, otherwise known as Chastity Bono [laughs] before she got her penis [laughs]."
While we understand that Chelsea is a comedian and she's going to mock everyone, we truly feel that Chaz needs all the support he can get right now. He's making a big, bold move by competing on DWTS, and we should all be as supportive and welcoming as possible!
TEAM CHAZ all the way!!!
