More New Characters For Glee?! Casting Call Goes Out For Two Major Recurring Characters!

Oh, Ryan Murphy. What are you doing? What, what, what are you doing?

Here's how we see it:

With no clear cut answer on the fate of Glee's favorite stars - Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer, Naya Rivera, etc - we get antsy when we hear news about the show that DOES NOT pertain to the orignal New Directions gang. Especially when that news is about adding more new faces to the mix that will undoubtly take time away from the core kids.

Two casting notices have gone out for the series for two MAJOR recurring characters. The first is for a 30-something man to play a “tall big dude who is an Ohio State football recruiter.” Now, this one doesn't bother us too much. More than likely, "Johnny" will factor into Finn Hudson's storyline as he tries to decide what he's going to do with the rest of his life. But the second new character….

The notice reads that Ryan and Co. are looking for a “young man 18 and over to play 17. He is extremely handsome. Must be an excellent singer. HUGE guest star, MAJOR recurring role.”

… WHAT? Is Darren Criss not good enough for you?! Is Mark Salling not handsome enough for you???

Stop with all the new characters already! Give this group of kids a chance to leave first before you bombard us all with new faces. We've got new cheerleaders and Glee Project winners and new boyfriends. When will it end?!

How are U feeling, Gleeks? Are U excited about all these new characters or are U fearful of what this will mean for your favorites?
