Congratulations are in order for Lil' Wayne!

Jay-Z and Kanye recently broke the iTunes store's single-week album sales record with their collaborative album, Watch the Throne, but now, the aforementioned rapper's latest, Tha Carter IV, has topped that with over 300,000 downloads in the first FOUR days of its release!

Furthermore, with the digital and physical sales combined, it's predicted to move over 850,000 copies!

So impressive!

We guess he's still got it!

Can't wait to see how this continues to do! Well done, Weezy!

Return of 'Breaking Bad' Breaks Series Record

The AMC drama “Breaking Bad” returned from a long hiatus – so long it missed out on this year’s Emmy nominations – with the strongest ratings the show has recorded.

The premiere of the new season on Sunday night reached 2.58 million viewers, 30 percent more than the premiere episode of the show’s last season in March 2010. The show was up across the board but proved especially strong with younger men (those ages of 18 to 34), where it grew 67 percent.

The first new edition of “Breaking Bad” in more than a year also proved to be almost as popular as the most famous show on AMC. “Mad Men,” which like “Breaking Bad” has been a favorite among critics and award-givers, attracted 2.9 million viewers for its last premiere episode in July 2010.

But “Breaking Bad” had more appeal to the younger audiences favored by most advertisers. It beat the last “Mad Men” premiere by 19 percent among viewers ages of 18 to 49, with a 1.32 rating to a 1.11 for “Mad Men.”

AMC has begun staggering the scheduling of its most popular series – the reason the new season of “Mad Men” has been put off until early next year – but the long break for “Breaking Bad” meant that the show was not eligible for Emmy awards for the latest television season.
