Michael Jackson Tribute Concert Having More Problems, Beyonce Pulls Out Of Show

beyonce pulls out of mj tribute concert

It has NOT been smooth sailing for the folks putting together the Michael Jackson Tribute Concert.

Last month, there was controversy in the Jackson family, because some of MJ's fam felt it was disrespectful to have the concert take place while Dr. Conrad Murray's manslaughter trial is still going on.

Then last week, Janet Jackson announced she wouldn't be attending the concert due to the trial.

Now, we're hearing that Beyonce will NOT be performing a live satellite performance at the event, even though concert promoter Global Live Events stated that she would.

Here's what a source had to say about it:

"Beyonce won't be performing a song live via satellite for the tribute concert now."

And if that weren't enough of a bummer, fans who paid full price for tickets will NOT be able to qualify for the new 2-for-1 ticket deals that are now going on sale.

We're sure there will still be some great performances at this event, but we've gotta say it REALLY seems like it wasn't put together very well.

Ah well, what's done is done we suppose…

Will U be attending the MJ Tribute Concert? Are U pissed to hear that Beyonce won't be performing via satellite???

How to Troubleshoot Monitor and Motherboard Problems

Knowledge on how to troubleshoot basic computer problems comes quite handy in emergency situations where you need to fix your pc as soon as possible.

There are various computer problems; some may be simple while others are too complex. Oftentimes, it's hard to pinpoint the main cause of the problem and the corresponding solution to fix it. In this article, we'll discuss some common problems that users experience and basic troubleshooting steps. You should be able to identify the problem and determine the appropriate solution. Remember though that you can bring your PC to a computer specialist for expert computer repair solutions.

If the computer screen suddenly becomes black and there's no visible image, the first basic thing to do is check the cables and power source. Your monitor might have no power due to connection problems. See to it that the cable is connected properly to the VGS slot which you can find at the back of the computer case.

The monitor cable must be plugged well to the monitor. If the monitor still doesn't have any display, your next option would be to switch your monitor with a replacement one to determine if the problem is the monitor or the graphics card. If the other monitor works well, then you'll know that you'll have to replace your old monitor since repairing monitors is quite expensive. However, if it still doesn't work, then the problem is related to the graphics card. Check if it's seated properly in the motherboard. You may want to replace it with a new one if the screen is still black. See if it solves the problem.

If you're experiencing failure in boot up, unusual system behavior, and various components not working properly, there might be something wrong with the motherboard. Since the motherboard is vital in the efficient functioning of all computer parts, it must always be in good condition. Certain parts may fail to function well if the motherboard is defective. Test these parts first before replacing them with new parts. Examine the motherboard and check if the fans are spinning, each cable is in proper place, and the CMOS battery is seated properly. Additionally, check for leaking or broken capacitors which cause motherboard failure. Also, the jumpers should be set properly. Read the user's manual to find all information about your computer motherboard.

When performing computer repair by yourself, you should always be cautious. Before replacing parts or opening your computer, be certain that you did not change any Windows software setting or any unnecessary changes that may have caused the problem in the motherboard.

Some Fixes For Your Motherboard Problems

Are you faced with random restarts, blue screen errors and system crashes? Have you spent hundreds of man-hours trying to fix all the software problems that you have on your system, for only a slight improvement. So what exactly must you do to correct this dilemma you're in?

The problem that you're facing with your system could be due to heat dissipation on your systems components.

In order to rectify this problem, you may have to check whether the Northbridge and Southbridge chips are overheating, if you find that they are then you will have to change the heat sinks or cooling fans that are already on them.

The next thing you should examine is the clamps that hold your CPU down, make sure everything looks in order, that there are no cracks where heat might be escaping. Unless you're an expert, I don't recommend you reinstall your CPU yourself as this can possibly create more problems.

Your system can also experience problems when capacitors or components on the motherboard itself are touching or poorly connected. If the power switch or RESET key is damaged, this will also create problems for your computer system. As time progresses, the style and design of motherboards have become more and more convenient for the end user, however the design of certain components such as the headphone jacks, switches and USB ports still require improvement.

If you find that your system shuts down after only a few seconds of operation, then it's recommended that you open up your systems case to check whether the power switches inside is unable to reset after it's been pressed down. If you find that this is the case, then it'll typically result in the problem that you're currently facing.

Troubleshooting Motherboard Problems - System Unstable

Frequent crashes, restart and blue screen attack your system every now and then; you exhaust your minds and spend a whole day repairing the software problems, however, system gets slight improvement. You are bogged down and at a loss what to do?

Sometimes this irritating impediment is merely caused by a poor heat dissipation of your hardware.

Above all, you'll need to check if it is too hot in the southbridge and the northbridge chips, if the problem is located, you need to replace the cooling fins.

The next, examine if the fan's fixed clamps are cracking, which would result in bad CPU heat dissipation and induce computer crashes. Generally, I do not recommend replacing the CPU socket, because manual welding will leave hidden troubles. The radiator of P4 CPU fan joint with the motherboard directly, but that of SOCKET370 CPU is fixed to the motherboard through a CPU socket, be careful if its spring strip too tight when uninstalling it, otherwise the plastic clamps would be apart so that you can not fix your CPU fan.

The bottleneck would also turn up when some obscure capacitance or the power system of motherboard is mingled or poor contacted. Besides, the damage in power switch or RESET key also can give rise to the problem. Today's guises of boxes are becoming more and more beautiful and user-friendly, but the quality of some of their switches, indicator lamps, headphone jacks and USB ports and so on should be improved. If the system shut down a few seconds after startup, you should open the chassis and check whether the power switch can not reset after pressing down. If the RESET key can not spring back itself, the computer will have no response when powering on, because it still stays in power off, and then the power light and the hard disk light will not shine and the CPU fan will not move.

Troubleshooting Five Common Motherboard Problems

Problem 1 New CM-OS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) settings can not be saved.

It is often owing to the motherboard battery is under voltage; you need to change the battery. If the voltage is still too low, it may have two possibilities.

One, the motherboard circuit goes on the fritz, and you'd better take it to the pro.

Second, the problem is in the motherboard CM-OS jumper, and sometimes you have cleaned CM-OS by mistake or set it as using the external battery, so it can not save the new CM-OS data.

Problem 2 Computer crashes or CD-ROM reading slows down after setting up motherboard drivers.

It usually happens in some inferior motherboards: when you finish installing your motherboard drivers and restart the machine, you can not enter the Windows 98 interface in the normal mode, furthermore, the drivers can not be unloaded. For this, you'd better find out the latest motherboard driver and install it, if still failed you have to reinstall your operating system.

Problem 3 Mouse is unavailable when installing or booting up your Windows system.

Its cause in software is generally the incorrect CM-OS settings. In the Power Management of the CM-OS, there is an item called modem use interrupt request, which is commonly default as 3, and you can change to choose one of other options except 3.

Problem 4 Computer crashes when setting the CM-OS

The source of this tiresome ordeal usually hides in the CPU or the motherboard Cache, sometimes maybe the poor heat dissipation in the motherboard gives rise to such crashes. For the Cache problem, you can fix it by disabling the Cache in the CM-OS, but certainly that would affect your Internet speed. If not the Cache problem, probably you have to replace your CPU or motherboard.

Problem 5 Motherboard COM port, Line Print Terminal port or Integrated Drive Electronics port doesn't work properly.

This usually happens when you hot plug the relevant hardware, firstly you need to disable the COM port, the Line Print Terminal port (sometimes you even need to disable the Integrated Drive Electronics port) that built-in the motherboard, and then use a multifunction card instead.
