Something's rotten in the state of Denmark El Lay!
Last we heard about the Michael Jackson murder trial, Dr. Conrad Murray's delay tactics had failed, and jury selection was scheduled to begin last Thursday.
We had also heard that Murray would have to take the stand in the trial alone because an LA judge ruled that MJ's other doctor Arnold Klein "could not be called to testify."
Now, in a bizarre and disturbing turn, prosecutors are claiming that key witness Tim Lopez has "mysteriously moved to Thailand" and is nowhere to be found!
Lopez is a pharmacist who was set to testify against Dr. Murray, because he claims he shipped "massive amounts" of Propofol to the doctor during the weeks preceding MJ's death.
Given the mysterious disappearance of this crucial witness, prosecutors are asking a judge to give them permission to use Lopez' testimony from January's preliminary hearing.
Soooooooo strange/sketchy/scary! We're sure more details will emerge about this pharmacist's disappearance soon.
