Asus Drivers - Where to Find Asus Motherboard and Other Drivers

If you've recently purchased new Asus computer hardware, such as a motherboard, and noticed that after installation, your computer began behaving strangely or you've been experiencing the occasional mystery crash, then those may be signs that a problem is looming. If a simple restart of your PC doesn't work out the kink, your problem may lay under the hood with an outdated or corrupt system driver.

These Asus motherboard drivers are essential to your computer running efficiently at all times and, when working properly, limit the interruptions you may face. You can think of drivers as a sort of universal language within your machine that each piece of equipment you use (from your monitor, to your hard drive, to your printer, and to all your accessories) needs to interact with each other and with the internal makings of your computer.

Not only do these physical pieces of your PC contain drivers, but applications such as Word, QuickTime and Acrobat all use them, too. It's easy to see that if an Asus motherboard driver is out of whack and trying to communicate with any of these how problems can occur and escalate.

When your computer freezes or crashes due to a driver-related error, there is no way for you to know which driver is causing the error, especially since there can be hundreds on your machine. Even if you locate a driver, you don't know if it is the most current one, or even if updating that one in particular will solve your computer woes. Updating them manually through Windows is possible - but, also very time-consuming. It can take about an hour from start to finish to do one single update by hand. And that may not even solve your problem.

Not to mention that the very next day, the manufacturer could come out with a newer version of that same driver and unless you check every manufacturers website of every driver you own every day, you will never know if they are all up-to-date. Sounds exhausting, doesn't it? It's also prudent to know that if you aren't very familiar with the inner workings of your PC, then you probably shouldn't be poking around in there. One incorrect installation and your PC could be gone for good.

The best bang for your buck is to get driver update software. This software can be life saving for some folks! After you install it, you click the "scan" button and it searches through your computer and finds all the outdated, missing or corrupt drivers on your machine. What can take you days to do manually is done before you can refill your coffee cup with driver update software.

After the program finishes, it supplies you with a list of drivers that need to be fixed and/or updated. Again, with just a single click, it does the work for you. You can even have this program scan the internet for updates at specified times so your drivers always remain as current as possible. With this software, not only will you save time and money, but your PC will run a lot smoother, browsing the Internet will be faster and your PC will be much safer.

Tired of searching for the right drivers? Want to download asus drivers EASILY? With this software you can stay on top of driver updates for all your hardware devices. Scan your system for free and up your ALL your drivers automatically!

Where to Buy a Motherboard For Your Computer

If you are looking for a place to buy a motherboard, the solution to your quandary may be closer then you realize. That is because you can head into town and pick one up at your local computer parts store, as a matter of fact. However; while this is the fastest way to buy a motherboard, it is also the most expensive.

Your Local Computer Parts Store

That is because your local computer parts store has what is called overhead to cover. That is the total cost of keeping their doors open and it includes rent, utilities, employee wages, etc. The good news is that today unlike years in past, there are several more options that can put a motherboard in you hands at a much cheaper price.

Your First Stop To Buy a Motherboard Online

That is right! You guessed it! It's the Internet. Of course most peoples first stop when shopping on the net is to simply type the name of what ever they are looking for into the search engine and brows through the websites that carry whatever it is that they are looking for. This may be your first option in your quest to buy a motherboard.

Tips On Effective Online Shopping

Still one more place to buy a motherboard, is to check out all of the online auctions. While your first choice may be eBay, the fact is that there are several online auction sites that you can buy a motherboard at. One thing thing that you may consider doing before you get started though, is to pull up and read some of the tips that are available on the Internet on effective online auction shopping.

Make Sure To Read the Feedback

Lastly, before you actually make a purchase on the Internet you will always want to read the feedback that previous buyers have written about the seller. If you see that they are receiving negative feedback then your best bet is to move along and look for another seller.

Social Media and Retail - Where We're Headed

People around the world are using social media more for a multitude of reasons. They are meeting long lost relatives or high school classmates, watching videos, reading blogs and most importantly for retailers, they are using SM to connect with brands they know and love. By the end 2011- more than 63% of Internet users will be using social media. (148 million people) and the number will climb to 67% by the year 2013. (Source: emarketer.com) That's a lot of people spending a lot of time with social media to do a lot of things.

And while some retailers are just getting started in using SM for their businesses, the industry is steam rolling ahead at warp speed. New sites are being created every day and the ways consumers use social media continues to evolve. So the question is - Where do we go from here and what's next for social media?

Here we present 5 of the ongoing trends emerging with social media for 2012. Many of them will be perfect for retailers like you as they seek to engage and share word of mouth experiences with customers in real time across to a broad group of users. When you read them, don't think about where you are with SM today, but more importantly, think about where your business could be if you integrated some of these tools in the coming year.

Consumer content creation-It's all about being in the stream. Yes, you need to have an engaging presence with social media on your own that inspires people to come back on a regular basis. Now taking it to the next level and getting your brand evangelists and social media community members to talk about your business in their posts will be critical.

Think of it as PR and word of mouth marketing from your best customers. You will need to create programs that inspire them to share what you are doing in their social media posts. Think of this as a type of word of mouth referral- except that it's on line and a lot more eyes will be on the message!

Niche Location-This will be another great trend for retailers. Niche location social media site target a users location and tells others about it. This has a great connotation for retailers who can then use services like foursquare or gowalla to run contests or make offers to customers who check in when customers shop.

Its like getting free advertising for your store-people check in and get discounts, etc and then their friends see on line that they are shopping in your store and may be intrigued to come in and get the same deal.

Ann Taylor, McDonalds, Starbucks and Best Buy are just a few of the companies that have created programs for Location based services

Group Purchasing-This trend continues to grow and will expand with more sites in 2012. Simply put, group purchasing is based on the premise that creating a sense of urgency around purchasing will incentivize users to act quickly and to share the information with friends in their circle to insure the deal happens. where brands offer a deal to customers and if enough people sign up, everyone gets the deal. It's a great way to get a tremendous amount of press for your brand that you could never pay for on your own. The group purchasing sites take a percentage of the sales generated from the deal so there is some profit erosion (on this first deal, but not over the long-term life of the customer if you can get them to shop with you again.)

Using group purchasing sites like Groupon or Living social or Daily Deals has become a hotbed topic for retailers because they are concerned these sites don't attract the right type of customers that can be retained long-term. I would suggest that the key to successful group purchasing participation is how you structure the deal and how you prepare in advance to create a process for you to capture contact information from the customers as well as create marketing programs to speak to them after the Groupon is over.

Social Gaming In 2012 more game applications will be integrated in to social media programs to further engage customers with brands in a fun way. More than 56 million people currently play games with social media on a regular basis and brands that connect with customers while they are using the game platforms are poised to form a meaningful connection with them going forward.

Mobile Marketing - More than 50% of all cell phones will be smart phones in 2012. Consumers understand the time saving benefits that a smart phone can deliver and the social media trends for 2012 call for more mobile marketing programs from brands to connect with customers where they are. Discount codes coming thru phones, interactions with products while in store and QR codes offering information, games and other relevant services will further engage customers with brands and stores in 2012.

These are not the only key trends for social media usage for 2012, but they are some of the biggest and ones where retailers can see a direct connection to customers if they choose to use them. Whatever trend you think is right for your business, one thing is certain. Social Media is the way of the future for retailers to connect with customers. Just like creating a website was important 10 years ago and email marketing they way to connect with customers 5 years ago, social media is a trend that is here to stay.

At it's core, social media is a new way of connecting with customers for your store and if you plan on being in business in 10 years and having customers who evangelize your brand - you must start integrating social media tools into your marketing plans today. Personally, you do not have to like- -or even use SM-but you have to understand that effective marketing is putting messages for your store where your customers are-and that your customers are using social media to connect with brands they love-and we certainly want yours to be one of them!

In Order to Know Where You Are Going...

...you need to know how you got where you are. From the abstract to a working paper by myself, Barry Eichengreen and Hiro Ito, entitled A Forensic Analysis of Global Imbalances:

We re-examine the determinants of current account balances applying updated data to the framework based on Chinn and Ito (2007). ...

...The main purpose of this study is to examine whether the determinants of global current account balances changed during the period preceding the global crisis of 2008-09 while inquiring into the prospects for the global imbalances in the post-crisis period. Based on our estimates, changes in the budget balance appear to be an important factor affecting current account balances for advanced current account deficit countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom. The effect of the “saving glut variables” on current account balances has been relatively stable for emerging market countries, suggesting the prominence of those factors is not a particularly recent phenomenon. We also find the 2006-08 period to be the structural break for emerging market countries, and to a lesser extent, for industrialized countries. When we investigate what can explain the purportedly anomalous behavior in the current account balances during the 2006-08 period, we find that stock market performance and real housing appreciation explain the unusual current account balances in the pre-crisis period; fiscal procyclicality and monetary policy stance do not seem to matter as much. However, we also identify components of current account balances that can be only explained by country-specific factors. Extrapolating to the future, we find that for the U.S., fiscal consolidation alone cannot induce significant current account deficit reduction. For China, financial development may help shrink its current account surplus, but only when it is coupled with financial liberalization. These findings suggest that unless countries implement substantial policy changes, the global imbalances are unlikely to disappear.
