Dealing With Smart Phone Repairs From Motherboards to LCD Issues

You won't be feeling great about things when you need a new motherboard for a smart phone. In fact, this point is where many smart phone users decide the time has come to an end for their devices. Should that be the case? Absolutely not: You should never consider ditching an iPhone just because you need a motherboard. You can get items like an iPhone 3g 8gb motherboard online and get back to your life quickly. Here are some ideas on dealing with smart phone repairs quickly and effectively.

Know what you are getting: Just because the ad says you are buying an iPhone 3g 8gb motherboard doesn't mean you are going to get what you need. Some products need to be adjusted. For example, a motherboard will likely need to be unlocked and jailbroken before it can be used by someone. If you do not have this service taken care of, you will be in for a rude awakening later. You can't use a motherboard in this state, so you will need to pay someone an extra fee to take care of it. Make sure it's prepared for you before you get set back in the repair process.

Watch the LCD screens on the market: There are some scams out there, saying things like an LCD screen or iPhone 3g 8gb motherboard can be fixed inexpensively and with little technical expertise. Anyone who says that about a motherboard repair has truly gone off the deep end, as this repair is very difficult. The same might be said for the LCD. Some items which claim to be the only item necessary for screen replacement are actually only part of what you need. People who fall into the trap of buying these partial solutions end up spending more money in the long run.

Consider what you will do when the phone is getting fixed: If you don't have a backup iPhone 3g 8gb motherboard on hand when you need it, you are going to be looking at a significant amount of time before you are back up online. What will you do in the meantime? If you know where you can find a phone to use temporarily, you won't be left out in the cold when such a sad time comes. You can just pick up the loaner phone you need and move on without missing a beat.

Have your tech repair crew and 'go to' website set: You don't want to waste time when you need to pull off a repair, whether it is something simple like a battery or something more complicated, like an iPhone 3g 8gb motherboard repair. For this reason, you need to have your tech repair crew ready to work on your phone. Know your technicians. Also, know where you can find the parts when they don't have them in stock. iPhones for which the warranty has lapsed will have to be watched over much more carefully. Know where to find the parts and who will repair the device.

iphonepartspro.com provides all of the parts to fix your broken iPhone. The selection at iphonepartspro.com is the best on the Internet.

Motherboard Repairs - Keyboard and Mouse Not Being Detected

When your motherboard does not recognize your keyboard or mouse, it may have three cases:

One, keyboard, mouse, 9 pin serial port, 25 pin serial port and game port are generally commanded by peripherals' controller chips such as IT8702F-A (produced by ITE Company) or 83977EF- AW (produced by Win bond Company). And those parts on some motherboards are directly controlled by the north bridge chips. If these motherboards do not recognize their keyboard and mouse, first of all, you should examine whether the 5V power supplying keyboard and mouse is working normally. If it does not work properly, you need to check whether the safety resistor of the power supply is fused. In case the fuse resistor is in high resistance, you can directly connect a thin wire to the line. (For cost saving, some motherboard makers also use a thin wire to directly communicate the line without a fuse resistor). If the supply of power is working normally, ruling out peripheral problems the trouble is commonly due to the two aforementioned chips that are damaged after hot plugging the keyboard or the mouse, and for this you need to change a new controller chip.

Second is the loose of the keyboard port or the mouse port. Sometimes your keyboard or mouse can work again by gently shaking them. It is because frequently plugging your keyboard or mouse would easily make their ports loose and leads to poor contact between the ports and the keyboard or the mouse, and then you need to replace the ports.

Third, keyboard or mouse is not compatible with your motherboard, which manifests as keyboard or mouse can not be found on boot, prompts to press F1 to continue on start, or mouse moves randomly on the desktop. If so, you need to replace the keyboard or mouse.

Motherboard Repairs

As the most robust and significant part of a computer, motherboard takes a key role in the entire system's working. Owing to improper operation, motherboard failures happen frequently, and its source commonly covers three aspects:

Carelessness in manipulation

Some novices and users with little knowledge of computer operation often overlook its specifications and safety, their operation errors easily result in damage in some components. For example, hot plugging or incorrectly installing devices and interface cards would cause damage or deformation in device interfaces, chips or cards, and thus leads to malfunction.

Environment-induced problem

It usually refers to the trouble induced under some unknown, unpredictable or irresistible circumstance. Such as lightning and electricity supply instability, which would directly mangle the system board, generally there is no way for people to prevent such woes. In another case, the problem could be triggered by temperature, humidity and dusk, etc. The symptoms include frequent crashes and restarts, or sometimes can start but sometimes can not turn on the computer and so on, resulting in instability in the performance of the machine.

Problem caused by certain poor-quality component(s)

This problem normally brings about malfunction in some motherboard component(s), start failures or POST (Power on Self Test) errors and so on.

Motherboard problems often include start failure, blank screen and sometimes can start but sometimes can not start, etc. When we troubleshoot these issues we should first observe the failure, and then listen to the alarm, after that find whether there is a smell, finally touch in some parts see whether they run hot or get burned...Here are some common motherboard repair methods as below:

Clean your motherboard

Using a brush to get rid of the dust on the motherboard can help resolve problems caused by too much dust or dust with static on the board. Otherwise, you can use an eraser to wipe the oxide layer on its surface, because there are usually many external boards which golden fingers probably may be oxidized leading to loose contact with the main board.

Observation method

In the case of power off, check that is each part correctly attached to its specified seat, are the capacitance and the resistor pins in good contact, does the surface of any part get burned or crack, is the copper foil on any circuit board burned. Meanwhile, you can touch the surface of some chips and check whether it is too hot.

Replacement method

When you are not sure the source, you can employ this method and check the suspected parts in turn to figure out the problem. You can unload the suspected part and install it onto a trouble-free computer or the other way round install a good part to the trouble PC. For instance, if the memory has POST errors or its capacity is not exact, you can adopt the replacement method to find out the real culprit.

Software diagnostics

Here we often refer to the use of the computer's random diagnostic programs or system test software to examine your board. It is applied to check a variety of interface circuit problems.

Each method above has its advantages and limitations, when troubleshooting motherboard problems, generally a combination of these methods is recommended.

Instead of repairing the Compaq motherboard you may be surprised to know it is often more beneficial to replace the motherboard, providing you replace it with a quality and tested Compaq motherboard.

Knowing that it can be cheaper and faster to replace the Compaq motherboard as opposed to repair it you now need to know where you can source a quality motherboard for the replacement, and how you can be sure that you get a great deal and a quality motherboard. There are several ways to do this but the following will provide you a guideline to ensure that you receive quality at a great price.
