Amanda Knox Was Sexually Harassed By Prison Officials And Told She Was HIV Positive

How horrible!

More details are coming out about Amanda Knox's time behind bars in an Italian prison.

The American exchange student claims she was subjected to numerous disturbing incidents at the prison in Capanne, Italy.

On one occasion, a male guard entered her cell alone and made sexual remarks to her. And in another incident, she was called in for a late night meeting with a high-ranking official where he did nothing but speak about sex with her.

She was even asked to compose a list of all the sexual partners she had (which ws later leaked to the media and published) and shockingly, was falsely told that she was HIV positive by prison authorities!!

How terrible.

During that time, she wrote in her diary:

"Please oh please, let it not be true. I don't want to die."

Vanity Fair's Judy Bachrach commented on her time in jail, saying:

"I think the Italian courts … practically made sure that Amanda was going to be harassed in prison since they made her sex life so much of a focus of the first trial."

Amanda could sue for the alleged incidents, but she'd have to fly back to Italy and file a suit, meaning she would have to endure yet another trial away from home.

It seems so unlawful that prison officials got away with such crude behavior! She most certainly did not deserve to be treated that way.

Kim Zolciak's Ex-Husband Sentenced To Prison For Molesting A 15-Year-Old Girl!

Many may not have agreed with her relationship with Big Poppa, but we imagine ANYONE would be better than this guy!

Thank goodness she got away!

The father of Kim Zolciak's daughters, her ex-husband Daniel Dominic Toce, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for pleading guilty to a single count of felony sex abuse against a minor - because he molested a 15-year-old girl!

After he finishes 2 1/2 years at the MacDougall-Walker Correctional Institution, the rest of 7 1/2 year sentence will be suspended, but he'll be on probation for 10 years and will be required to register as a sex offender.

And Kim - who divorced Toce in 2003 - is now attempting to permanently terminate his parental rights, and rightfully so!

A source close to the reality star explains:

“Kim is consulting her legal team to see if she can permanently terminate Daniel’s parental rights or at least severely restrict them. She doesn’t want him anywhere near her two girls when he gets out of prison.”

And his most recent ex-wife, Mary Toce, agrees:

"[I want him to] rot in prison for what he did. That creep stole the girl’s innocence and robbed her of her childhood. He’s a monster.”

We couldn't have said it better ourselves!

That man has NO business being around teenage girls, or any children for that matter - EVER!

We're just glad that Kim was smart enough to get her daughters away from them - it makes us sick to think of what could have happened if she hadn't!

Conrad Black, Still in Prison, Finds Publisher for Memoir

OTTAWA _ A resentencing hearing last week in Chicago will soon return former newspaper publisher Conrad M. Black to prison. But his legal tribulations have not interfered with Mr. Black’s other occupation — as an author.

On Wednesday, the Canadian publisher McClelland & Stewart said that it would publish Mr. Black’s second memoir this fall. “A Matter of Principle,” which will be distributed in the United States by Random House, covers Mr. Black’s life from 1993 to this year. It was largely written from his prison cell and will deal with the 29 months he has already spent in a Florida prison after his 2007 conviction on three counts of fraud and one count of obstruction of justice related to the misappropriation of $6.1 million from Hollinger International.

Douglas Pepper, the president and publisher of McClelland & Stewart, said that the project had taken several turns since it was commissioned before Mr. Black went to trial.

“It wasn’t easy or uncomplicated dealing with someone who was incarcerated,” Mr. Pepper said. “But his ability to get his writing in and out of prison wasn’t a huge problem.”

While Mr. Pepper declined to reveal any of the book’s contents, he did say that it was partly about “setting the record straight.”

Mr. Black has consistently maintained that he was the victim of an overzealous and unjust prosecution.

Mr. Black was released from prison on bail nearly a year ago after the Supreme Court’s reinterpretation of provisions of a fraud law overturned two of his convictions related to about $5.5 million of the misappropriation. That resulted last week in Mr. Black’s 78-month sentence being reduced to 42 months. He is likely to spend another year in prison before his final release.

In addition to his 1993 memoir, Mr. Black has written several political biographies including those of Franklin D. Roosevelt and Richard M. Nixon.

Even when Mr. Black is finally set free, he may not be able to travel around Canada to promote his latest book. To become a member of the British House of Lords, Mr. Black abandoned his Canadian citizenship in 2001. Now as a convicted felon and foreign national, Mr. Black is ineligible for entry into Canada. Mr. Black is trying to obtain special permission to re-enter Canada and regain his citizenship. That process is unlikely to be hurried along to accommodate a book tour.
