In case you aren't aware, this generation is busy. Like super busy. So busy, that like, real human communication is a real hassle. They just don't have the time to have a voice-to-voice conversation like their parents did. That takes sooooo much energy and concentration.
As we were hip to this tune, we didn't find it that surprising to learn that according to a new study, almost one-third of U.S. adults prefer to be reached by text message rather than a voice call on their cell phone.
The study alos found the most frequent texters are Americans 18-24, who on average send 109.5 messages each day or 3,200 texts each month. As for the rest of the country: 73% of U.S. adults text and 83% of U.S. adults are cell owners.
Really? Only 83%? That doesn't seem high enough!
And yes, out of all the statistics just presented to us, that is the one the baffles us.
